NovaRad Installs PACS in Two Florida Facilities

American Fork, Utah April 7, 2010 - Two facilities in Florida are the latest to select and install radiology technologies to help improve reading, workflow, patient scheduling and procedures tracking.

George E. Weems Memorial Hospital located in Apalachicola installed NovaPACS and Nephrology Associates of Central Florida located in Winter Park installed NovaPACS and ClinicPACS. ClinicPACS is a complete clinic solution that includes PACS, Admin Console, orthopedic trauma tools and templates, and patient room image distribution system combined with CR. NovaRad South, a NovaRad distributor and systems integrator, facilitated the contracts.

The technologies were selected by the rural facilities because they could be installed in fewer than four weeks. An additional factor was that all hardware and software upgrades are included, at no additional charge, as part of the contract that helped with budgeting now and in the future.
