NovaPro provides any enterprising Radiologist or Radiologist group the ability to receive DICOM images from unlimited, unaffiliated imaging producing practices with no fear of intermingling of images and/or information. It can allow them to distribute the resulting reports automatically via email, fax, both, or through direct HL7 messaging into the customer’s own existing HIS, RIS, and/or EMR/EHR. This functionality is provided without the necessity to store or maintain the images files. Received images are automatically scrubbed from the archive as the pre-determined image storage limit is reached. This allows the interpreting service provider the ability to provide high quality medical imaging reports without the responsibility of becoming the custodian of the reports and /or images for historical purposes. The system is configurable to be a complete PACS solution for the provider with customers that require them to not only read, but store and maintain the images and reports. It can also deliver and remove these images and reports for those customers who do not have that requirement. NovaPro gives complete flexibility in delivering and providing the services their customers want, in the fashion they require. No matter how simplistic or complex.
