When you purchase any Novarad system, we will make sure that all of the data on your old system is properly transferred. Novarad's data migration services cover two types of data- DICOM (your images) and patient report data (names, contact information, report history, etc.). Novarad employs the industry standard ETL model for data migration - Extract, Transform, and Load. This means that we are able to extract the data from your current system and then easily load it onto ours. 

Novarad uses various methods within this model in order to have successful image transfer, including raw DICOM or low-level C-moves. We can also do a simple Import if data extraction is not necessary.

With Novarad, there is no need to be concerned with a loss of patient data. Through a very thorough analysis, we are able to identify and understand the relationship between each of the tables of patient data, then generate an extraction script. Then there is a validation process to ensure that each report is matched to the right patient. Throughout the entire process, we strictly adhere to HIPAA guidelines to maintain patient confidentiality.
